Art in Conversation with Stefan Beiu
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Settled in Strasbourg, Stefan Beiu (n. 1960) established himself both as a painter and as a good teacher. In addition to his exhibitions, he also opened a modern painting school. He started exhibiting in France in 1990, and France adopted his painting. Educated in Moscow, the young and talented Beiu first studied at the College of Fine Arts in Chisinau, and at the age of 19 he went to Moscow, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. Stefan BEIU's paintings tell a story with an accumulation of image. He narratively paints the different scenes of everyday life mixed with his overflowing and fantastic imagination.
